| Family meals, utility and financial assistance are available to clients who are unable to meet their basic necessities. |

Emergency Food, Shelter, and Clothing Through 28 Community Centers, the agency provides food, shelter and clothing to clients with immediate needs. In order to meet the needs of the clients for food, the emergency food program has expanded to include weekend distribution to assist working poor families and individuals who cannot access the programs during the weekdays. |

| Throughout Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties, Catholic Charities food pantries provide emergency food to hungry individuals and families. |
|

Food Pantries Catholic Charities has over 15 food pantries throughout Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. Conservatively, in the past year, in Los Angeles County alone, these food pantries provided more than 375,000 bags of groceries and served more than 49,000 sack lunches to homeless and very low-income individuals and families. Catholic Charities employs case managers at the food pantries, so that those who depend upon the agency for food can develop plans to become more independent and self sufficient. |

| At the community centers, clients can choose from a variety of donated food products. |

Utility Assistance Assistance is given year-round to aid residents with telephone, gas and electric bills. |

Hotel/Motel Vouchers The agency makes vouchers available to those in need of emergency shelter. The vouchers are used to help stabilize clients until they are able to find more suitable housing. |

| Clients receive urgently needed clothing for themselves and their families. |
