Since 1986, OASIS (Older Adult Services and Intervention System) has helped thousands of frail, low income elderly persons remain safe in their own homes, avoiding unnecessary or premature institutionalization.  OASIS helps make the “golden years” much more enjoyable for approximately 600 seniors each year by providing financial support, deliveries of daily necessities, coordinating community resources and offering essential companionship.  The program also eases the emotional, physical and financial strain on caretakers of the elderly, most often the older adult's family and loved ones, allowing the younger generation to better care for themselves and plan for their own financial futures.
