Elizabeth Ann Seton Residence Shelter in Long Beach, CA
The goal of the Elizabeth Ann Seton Residence (EASR) is to move homeless individuals and families from crisis situations to stability. Operating since 1983, EASR provides up to 45 days of emergency shelter for a maximum of 44 individuals at any one time. The shelter opens its doors to families of all kinds and serves children, single men, pregnant women, people with disabilities and senior citizens in need of refuge while they rebuild their lives.

Clients actively work with case managers to develop Individualized Service Plans which create short- and long-term goals and identify methods to achieve them. Children attend school nearby while adults take life skills, parenting and job skills classes. At least 80% of EASR clients move into transitional or permanent housing upon exiting from the program.

Elizabeth Ann Seton Residence is a vital component of the Villages at Cabrillo, a collaborative network of services for people who are homeless in Long Beach.
