Archdiocean Youth Employment Services (AYES)

Responsibilities

Archdiocesan Youth Employment Services (AYES) of Catholic Charities of Los Angeles is seeking a quality individual with strong commitment to excellence and community service. AYES is the leading youth provider of career and employment services in Los Angeles.

Act as primary assistant to the Director in all matters relating to program management, including development and comprehensive youth services. Assist Director with planning, organizing and budgeting for all Archdiocesan Youth Employment Services contracts and programs. Prepares and reviews contract documents for government sponsors and sub-contractors to ensure accuracy and completeness. Review and prepares management and operational reports, conducts special studies and preparation of grants application and proposals. Represents Director at designated Workforce Investment Board, Employer Advisory Board and other community meetings. Interfaces with government sponsor auditors and confers with Director regarding any irregularities or deficiencies. Reviews case management records, interview clients and processes support services requests to ensure qualitative delivery services. Assist Director with private sector employer marketing and private resources development. Supervise development of website content and coordinate LAN technology services with AYE and its collaborative partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in business or public administration or related field. Requires ability to perform duties and a minimum of four years of experience in administration or management is preferred. Prior managerial responsibilities dealing with supervision of program staff, governmental and private funding sources. Proficient computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs and resources.

Hours

Full-Time, 40 hours week, M-F, 8;30 am - 5:00 pm

Salary Commensurate with Experience
