ADESTE - After School Program

Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc. is seeking a quality individual with strong commitment to the community.

Responsibilities

The Child Care Teacher will instruct school-age children in activites designed to promote social, physical and intellectual growth. The Child Care Teacher will assist the Site Supervisor with development and delivery of the child care curriculum. The teacher is responsible for the general supervision and management of up to 14 children. Plans, supervises and implements program for their interests, special talents and individual style. Ensures the safety and health of students. Responsible for the cleanliness and safety of the classroom. Assists the Site Supervisor as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Must be 18 years or older. 12 ECE semester/quarter equivalent units and 6 months of experience working with children in a licensed or comparable center.

Hours

Part-time, 25 hours per week, M-F, 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm
